Contemplating in front of the fire with glass in hand as darkness falls outside.

Thinking very hard of something not so great to say about this amber coloured substance and the best way to keep contemplating this challenge is to keep tasting, looking at and smelling Point 5. Drink Point 5 like a session beer without fear or sip it to get more of the hoppy scent and the deep flavours. Think on lad think on.

Well, I have been sipping and slurping, swizzling the glass, sniffing and holding Point 5 up to various lights to admire the colours. It has been a few months of scrutinising Point 5, so much so that it has made me a Hambleton VIP, but still no luck in finding the elusive not so strong point of Point 5.

Ureka, I have got it! Point 5 is not a Porter nor a Stout! But then, (note to self), Point 5 is neither of those! Oh well, top off another bottle of Point 5 and back to contemplating. With 3 cases of Point 5 in the back of the car ready to head for Spain where I will have to spend a bit of time by the pool with a cooler Point 5 studying how to divide 48 by Point 5 =96 to have enough to last the time away from Hambleton Brewery

At last!

This is a real winner. The low and non alcohol beers on the market generally lack one thing. Taste. The Point 5 scores highly for me on this front. It pours well and is a satisfying pint to drink.

5 out of 5 for Point 5

A really tasty low alcohol beer. Sometimes its just nice to drink a beer that is pleasant to the palette and leaves you feeling fresh and refreshed. Point 5 achieves that and doesn't leave the after taste that many low alcohol beers do, the added bonus is it is gluten free and you would never believe that it is only 0.5%.

5 out of 5 for Point 5 Hambleton :-)

Amazing low alcohol drink

You’d never know this is a low alcohol beer. It is as tasty as a standard Pale Ale. Pleasantly hoppy with a great aftertaste. Highly recommended!

Flavoursome and thirst quenching

Excellent quality quaffable pint of hoppy loveliness . Enjoyable and satisfying without the alcoholic fuzz of normal ale . Easily one of my favourite beers . The best for a true session!! Can drink pints and pints of it without getting really drunk . A real game changer to have a couple of these and not worry about getting a hangover ! Gluten free too which is brilliantly brilliant!

Great beer, very zesty!

Try this amazing beer! Very pleased! This is one of the best low or no alcohol beers I've tried. Most are rubbish or leave you wanting to drink a pint of water instead! This has none of that alcohol free aftertaste or smell as many do. It tastes like a new worldy sort of beer, very hoppy and you feel like you are enjoying a nice beer. Session pale and Greenstar are the others I like and this is along similar lines, its not like Stud or Stallion. I'm hoping for a classic beer one next, imagine Stallion with a low alcohol option, we have never found one but that would be great because my husband won't drink these hoppy beers, I like them all so lucky me!

No compromise

If you enjoy the taste of Hambleton's other beers you will enjoy this. Whether low alcohol is a personal preference or doctor’s orders, choosing this beer is no compromise.

A great beer!

I've raved about this pale ale on my Beers Without Fears blog already - it's a traditional pale ale but with an extra blast of hops. Good job it's in a half litre bottle cos it slips down very easily. Top top brew.

The best!

Best British AF pale ale I've had. And I've tried a few. More than 200 in fact. If you don't like this you probably don't like beer.
Magnificant.

Point Five

This is the best low alcohol beer I have tasted so far! A great, flavoursome taste, it’s hard to believe it’s only 0.5%
