Contract Services
We offer a wide selection of contract services for large and small breweries, whether you’re after extra bottling capacity or a full brewing service we have the solution to suit you.
Brewing
At Hambleton Brewery we have over 28 years of brewing experience of both our own products and the contract brewing of other brewery’s craft beers. This covers a huge range of styles, covering everything from English bitters to chocolate porters and from pilsner style beers to heavily hopped American IPA’s. Our brewery, packaging equipment and procedures are fully accredited to the latest SALSA with beer standards, and we are subject to ongoing independent auditing, meaning you can be assured your product is in good hands.
Kegging
Stainless steel kegs are washed and sterilised on a fully automated unit followed immediately with filling of beer. The beer can be unfiltered or filtered to the brewer’s specification. Carbonation and ‘nitro’ levels can also be specified.
The line is suitable for a wide range of keg types; including stainless steel kegs and one trip kegs such as Key Keg or Doliums. We are also able to provide steel rental kegs from stock. In addition, we can fill 5 litre mini kegs as part of a dedicated 5 or 10 barrel run, or alternatively small volumes can be produced as part of a large volume bottling or kegging run.
Bottling & canning
Hambleton Brewery specialise in low volume bottling & canning runs between 5 and 20 barrels (830 to 3300 litres). We are specifically set up to ensure high quality handling and processing of beer and cider, with storage on site to allow up to 2 weeks conditioning at -1 degrees before packaging.
Stabilisation is typically carried out by cold sterile filtration, however other filtration levels are available depending on brewer’s requirements for the finished product. Our brewery, packaging equipment and procedures are fully accredited to the latest SALSA with beer standards, and we are subject to ongoing independent auditing, meaning you can be assured your product is in good hands.
